Colorado Catholics for Personhood (CCFP) was started by Gualberto Garcia Jones J.D.

Gualberto has degrees in history and political science, as well as a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in Washington DC.  He has lobbied extensively for the Right to Life Act (the federal version of last election’s Amendment 48 and the 2010 Personhood Amendment) and has been intensely involved in the pro-life movement for the last eight years.

CCFP is a loose group of Catholics that wishes to support Colorado Personhood measures within our Catholic communities.  We are not affiliated directly with Colorado Right to Life or with the Colorado Catholic Conference.  We support the current Personhood Amendment based on the clear and convincing magisterium of our beloved Catholic church with regards to the personhood of the preborn.  We also applaud the courage and conviction of our protestant brothers and sisters who brought Personhood to the ballot in 2008, and hope that through our mutual respect for life we may come closer as one Christian community.
